Injecting the skin with centrifuged autologous serum / PRP is a medical-cosmetic anti-aging treatment without exogenous components. The positive effects of thrombocytic growth factors on fibroblast activity and angiogenesis are, among others, causal for the perceived skin rejuvenation after a vampire lift or for therapeutic effects in hair loss.

PRP treatment is relatively bloodless - despite the bloody names such as Dracula treatment. The high concentration of blood clotting factors and directly hemostatic platelets (thrombocytes) close small injections-related bleedings very quickly.

Temporary volume without disfigurement

Five milliliters (5ml) of PRP injectate is available per blood tube drawn. This is a relatively large amount and allows volume-giving injections that do not have a permanent effect. For comparison, hyaluronic acid gel is administered in 1ml syringes.

Duration of the procedure: 45 min.

The volume can be used to volumize cheeks, fill dark circles or strengthen the skin or on wrinkles. Stimulation of hair growth by PRP is a top indication for autologous serum sub-injection. Injection of autologous serum is painless, except for the prick, because the injected PRP is pH-matched to the originating tissue.

Effect of PRP injections

Injection with own blood serum cannot be compared with effects of Botox therapy or filler (hyaluron) treatment. PRP treatment makes visibly fresher skin and has a regenerative preserving effect without changes in facial shape and facial expressions. Since it is a cosmetic injection, a serial treatment should be planned.

Procedure of the single-blood "vampire lift

Approximately 10 milliliters of blood with PRP Tubes are taken from a vein in your arm. This is separated into its red and clear components by centrifugation. The clear serum is filled into handy syringes to be used in the area of the planned PRP treatment. On the following day of a PRP treatment you are socially fit, in some cases even immediately after the treatment.
